Project Manager

What’s Up Interactive is an award-winning, rapidly expanding interactive agency. Due to our steady growth over the last year, we are looking for a Project Manager to join our dynamic team of interactive marketing professionals. This will be your opportunity to work with a roster of blue chip clients in a growing company with an impeccable track record and an excellent reputation in the industry. We know how to make work fun but we also have a very dedicated team that is focused on to delivering results for our clients.

OK. Enough about us. We want to hear about you:

You are the one unique individual that can handle both the operational and client-side demands of this position equally well. You thrive under pressure in a deadline driven environment. You understand that the client is the most important component of our business. You understand marketing but you also have a working knowledge of technology and programming. Your organizational skills border on OCD. You organize your closet by color, season, and feel of material while your CD’s are arranged first by genre and then alphabetically. You’ve balanced your checkbook to the penny since you got your first checking account in grade school. I think you get the picture.

Your Specific Responsibilities:

  • Managing projects from start to finish end ensuring that expectations are exceeded
  • Directing all aspects of account services and project management
  • Effectively and efficiently communicating client needs to production
  • Coordinating and managing internal communication among team members
  • Working with clients to integrate interactive marketing into overall marketing strategy
  • Collaborating with agency operations and production team to fulfill workflow deadlines and ensure successful deployment of projects
  • Maintaining project plans, schedules, timelines and deadlines to ensure initiatives are delivered on time and on budget

  • Demonstrated strength in customer-facing skills
  • Demonstrated creative negotiation/issue resolution skills
  • Organizational skills, with meticulous attention to detail
  • Resourceful, with the ability to work independently and solve problems
  • Flexibility to deal with a changing role and ability to prioritize
  • Maintain client focus and internal team goals
  • Working knowledge of all Microsoft office programs
  • At least 2-3 years experience in interactive marketing or client services
  • Web development experience a major plus
